선교편지

캄보디아, 김석훈 / 김옥경 선교사

Dear missionary partners,

Hallelujah!
It seems like the spring semester has just started, but there are only 5 weeks left before vacation. Time really flies by
It’s the same. It’s really hot here right now, and sometimes I feel like my body is going to melt.
The daily temperature feels like over 115 degrees Fahrenheit (46 degrees Celsius), and this heat is likely to continue until June, when the rainy season begins. However, in the midst of this, the mangoes here are very sweet in the heat, so we can’t eat them.
Helps relieve the heat
Thanks to the support and prayers you always send, I would like to share news from the mission field and share prayer topics with you.

1. Spring semester status
This semester has been incredibly challenging for master’s students. Study three courses online at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary and five courses at our school.
I’m so focused on studying that I don’t have time to study.
Although it is a difficult time, I think it is a process that will prepare me well to become a professor in the future.

2. Saturday evangelism status
After evangelizing in the neighborhood where the church is located, we connect them to the church.

1) Philadelphia Vietnamese Church: This church is a church for Vietnamese people who settled in Cambodia due to the war. Those who settled in Cambodia cannot attend school in Cambodia because they do not have nationality, and they go to Vietnam.
Persuading parents who refuse to educate their children because they are struggling to make a living because they cannot go back,
The pastor and his wife who do educational work within the church seem very precious.
